The Awesome template. A slick, contemporary design aimed at marketing and social-media businesses, although its flexible structure makes it suitable for many other service businesses. It is particularly easy to customise, with a clean presentation that works especially well on mobile and gives a modern brand plenty of room to showcase services, content and calls to action.

The Fitness template. Designed with fitness, wellbeing and lifestyle businesses in mind, this is a clean, approachable design that can easily be adapted by changing the imagery, colours, fonts and copy. Its straightforward structure makes it a good choice for a small business that wants a professional online presence without an overly complicated visual style.

The Cafe template. A sophisticated, food-focused design intended for cafés, restaurants, coffee businesses and hospitality brands. It is particularly distinctive because it uses a one-page scrolling format, with the different parts of the website presented as sections on a single long page, making it useful for businesses that want visitors to move naturally from introduction to menu, information and contact or booking.

The Pages template. A versatile health, fitness, wellbeing and lifestyle design with a flexible page structure that can be repurposed for many types of service business. It works particularly well where you need several clearly separated pages or offerings rather than a simple one-page site, and we recommend it for coaches and some e-commerce businesses. Read a review here

The Bold template. As its name suggests, this is intended for a brand that wants a strong visual presence rather than a restrained corporate appearance. It provides a more assertive foundation for businesses that want their typography, imagery and branding to make an immediate impression while still retaining the flexibility of Squarespace.

The Scrolling template. A visually distinctive design aimed at creative brands that need to stand out. It uses a scrolling presentation in which background elements can move independently from the foreground content, giving the site a more immersive, almost custom-built feel; it is particularly suited to brands where visual presentation is a major part of the proposition.

The Hospitality template. Built around food, hospitality and other image-led businesses, this template prioritises attractive presentation and mobile usability. It can be adapted for restaurants, cafés, bakeries and similar businesses, and on our ‘Case studies’ page we show it being used for a bakery, illustrating how readily the design can be rebranded around different hospitality concepts.  Read a view here.

It is intended for a business or brand that wants its website to feel energetic, memorable and unlike a conventional corporate website, making it better suited to brands where personality and visual impact matter more than conservative presentation.

The Tradesman's template. A clean, contemporary but understated design originally aimed at property and interiors businesses. It has a professional, conservative character that can also work for design or other service companies, making it particularly appropriate for businesses that want to communicate reliability, craftsmanship and professionalism rather than a highly experimental brand identity. Read a review here

The Brand template. A simple, strong design for a brand or business that wants its identity to be the focus. Rather than relying on a highly specialised industry layout, it provides a relatively neutral framework that can be adapted through typography, colours, imagery and content, making it useful for a wide range of businesses seeking a confident branded presence.

The Wedding Services template. Another wedding-focused option, but geared more specifically towards businesses selling wedding services rather than simply showcasing a wedding-related brand. It provides a polished framework that can be adapted around different services, portfolios, packages and enquiries while retaining the elegant visual character expected from a wedding website.

The Lifestyle template. A slightly quirky but still restrained design intended for businesses selling lifestyle products. We describe it as being “a little bit quirky but not too ‘out there’,” with numerous page-layout choices and a highly customisable design, making it a good middle ground between a conventional business website and a more expressive creative brand.

The Event Planner template. A visually attractive design for wedding planners, event planners and related services, with large section backgrounds and text overlaid across them. Its presentation gives it a polished, editorial quality and works particularly well for businesses whose selling point is the experience, atmosphere and visual quality of the events they create.

It is deliberately easy to navigate and customise, with the concept essentially being that you can replace our imagery and content with your own while retaining an attractive, calm and professional overall structure.

Its calm visual character makes it particularly suitable for businesses selling experiences or personal services, and note that booking and payment functionality can be incorporated into the design.

It makes strong use of photography and incorporates calls-to-action directly within image areas, helping visitors move towards important pages such as accommodation details, booking information or enquiries.

The Pie template. A deliberately simple, one-page website for food and hospitality businesses that don't need a large, complicated site. It is suited to a business that wants to communicate the essentials—such as its offering, identity, imagery and contact information—in a compact scrolling experience rather than maintaining a large collection of separate pages.
