The three easy stages you need to take to make on of our templates into your own website

A Squarespace website template is basically a ready made design. It’s a design using the Squarespace platform which means you’ll be able to make edits, add content, write blogs and update your products yourself.

It also means you can get all of your text and images together and decide how you’ll communicate your product or service and then apply it all to a design you choose from our list. We have a list of about 30 templates. We find that most clients struggle with the design element of making a website and so the ready made design or template is the perfect solution.

So the 3 easy stages of customising one of our websites are:

  1. Choose a design. Although all of our templates can be applied to any business we’ve added a guide to each of the designs giving you an idea of which template would be most suitable for your business. If you need a shop or any particular functionality contact us and we’ll add what you need to your design.

  2. Swap over our placeholder text and images with your own content. Most of our placeholder text is in latin so it’s easy to see. The images are easy to swap over too. You can change the colouring to suit your brand and bring in your own logo. We can help you every step of the way and get you up and running if you need it.

  3. Customise your template so the text and images work well together and your pages make sense. It’s important that your new users experience a clear journey so they end up contacting you or buy your product. Again, contact us if you need any help at all. And the last thing to do is connect your domain or buy a new one from Squarespace. This is easy too but we’ll help you if you need it.

  • Yes, absolutely. We’ve been designing and building Squarespace websites for many years and many of our clients needed a place to start. We built a set of designs to help them with design, colour, fonts etc. We then thought it would make sense to sell them and add them to our existing range of services.

  • It’s very easy. All you do is replace the latin placeholder text and images we’ve used in the template with your own text and pictures. We can help you do this if you need it.

  • Yes they can which is a huge advantage with using one of our ready made designs. Our designs can be further customised to include videos, sidebars, embedded booking systems, your own functionality, members areas and downloadable options. Our designs are very flexible.

  • Our designs can be used to redesign your website. It’s by far the cheapest and quickest way to redesign or improve your current Squarespace website. It’s important to keep the links intact and keep your existing SEO history so an amount of care has to be taken. We can help you with your redesign.

  • If you have a Squarespace account already we’ll put it on your account so you can start working on it immediately.
    If you’re new to Squarespace we’ll open an account for you so you’re up and running. You won’t need any other software to work our templates.
