I’ve been working on a new Squarespace template over the Christmas holiday period and today I’ve released it into the wild. It’s imaginatively named ‘Design 22’ and I’ve put it first on the list on the template page here. It’s a very contemporary design and would suit social media type business. You can see the full demo here.

You may not want to show all your blogs or your complete list of products on a page, you may want to just show a the last four of your blogs or a single category of your products. Summary blocks are probably the most useful blocks you’ll use on a page.

n todays world we own our websites, we can add and edit our content and pay reasonable fees for all of it. Even very large businesses have Squarespace websites because they are tired of the way website designers behave.

Squarespace websites started out as a template website platform in 2004. It was easy for anyone without any knowledge at all about website design to build their own website.

We’ve been selling templates all year and increasingly we are beginning to think that that our users are looking for a design rather than a template. Templates tend to be a 7.0 term as although 7.1 gives you a choice of designs they are all variations on the Fluid engine bas design which can do pretty much anything.

Today we finished a new Squarespace website template which would suit any business in the hospitality sector. Although this template is a design for a cafe it could be further customised to suit any business. If you like the design all you do is add your own text and replace the images with your own pictures.

Some of our most successful website builds have come as a result of one of our templates.

It’s the easiest and cheapest way to get a new website because the design has already been made for you. All you have to do is replace the text and images we’ve used as placeholders in the design with your own text and images.

Using a Squarespace template saves time and money by providing a professional, mobile-responsive design with built-in features like galleries and e-commerce options, while still allowing for customisation without needing design skills.
