First new Squarespace website template for 2026.

I’ve been working on a new Squarespace template over the Christmas holiday period and today I’ve released it into the wild. It’s imaginatively named ‘Design 22’ and I’ve put it first on the list on the template page here. It’s a very contemporary design and would suit a social media or m,arketing type business. Squarespace is a fantastic platform that has historically supplied new users with a set of templates to get them started with design. The templates have also historically been really dull and very based toward the US market. In the UK we often look for more sophisticated designs for our websites. There are lots of templates to choose from out there. Many are suppled by US website makers but they’re expensive and all very similar in design.

All you have to do is choose a design you like and make it your own by adding in your own content. Much of the text we’ve used in the designs is in latin so it’s easy to see what you need to replace. The images are also really simple to change over. Once that’s all done fill in the SEO fields, name your images and connect it to your domain if you already have one or go to Squarespace and get it there along with sorting out your email.
