The bounce rate on particular pages may have increased or decreased over time. The source of the traffic is important when analysing bounce rate. If you’re paying for clicks such as Google ads ideally your bounce rate should be no higher than 60% as any higher your visitors aren’t engaging with your landing page. Social media clicks to your website can be much higher as the quality of visitor is likely to be much lower. 20-40% is an ideal figure to look at with bounce rate analytics.

The Home page is the most important page on your website. It’s where most of your visitors will land first. You need to try and get them to where they want to be quickly and so calls to action on your Home page are very important. Quality of content is very important too. Blogs particularly need to be well written and engaging. Google will see how your users are behaving. If your site loads slowly and the user experience isn’t good you won’t get a good page ranking from the search engines.
