Squarespace templates for UK businesses.

This is a new Squarespace template for 2026. Its a one page scrolling template that would probably suit a media or creative business. We’ve categorised it under the section cool and bold templates.

We’re find that categorising our templates is more useful to our users than just listing them the way we did last year. Many of our clients have all of their text and images ready to go but they struggle with the design and they first look for a template by category. All of our templates can be further customised so in actual fact the categorisation is really just a rough indication. They are all designs that with a bit of changing to fit your brand can work with any industry. So if you’re a plumber and you’re looking for a website design you could choose one of our templates from the wellness section and we could make it fit your business.

You have such a limited time to impress a new user on-line these days so your design needs to be striking to keep them engaged. If you can get them past the home page because of your great design you’ll probably get them engaged with your content on the subsequent pages. You’ll see this in your analytics. A high bounce rate is a killer if you need to engage new users. If you have Google analytics loaded on your website you’ll see that the engagement rate for the second and third page your users use can often have a lower bounce rate than the Home page. Just goes to show how important good design is.

The new template above you can see here. It’s just one page. For many businesses that’s all they need. You can include an about us section and a contact section within the makeup of the single scrolling page. 7.1 Squarespace is now a layout that’s made up of sections. Perfect for the one pager website.

There is still a navigation across the header of the website. The two items ‘about’ and ‘contact’ take you to the relevant sections on the one page website by using anchor links. We used this on another template we’ve introduced this year which you can see here. It’s a food website and we’re finding that there is still a need for one page scrolling template. Clients don’t feel the need to throw everything at their websites any more. The purpose of a website is to get a new user to either call of fill in a form. When that user makes contact you can send them everything they need, you don’t need all that info on pages and pages on a website.
