A Squarespace template is a ready-made website layout and framework. It gives you the structure, styles (fonts, colours), and built-in features to make a beautiful, designed, responsive website . You can choose a design and quickly add your branding, images, and text to create a professional-looking website for your services, blogs, portfolios, online stores, and more.
Our templates are more advanced than the standard Squarespace ones. They give you more design freedom without having to struggle with designing it. You get a premium website without the risk your competitor using a similar design. Our templates include unique designs and include custom functionality so you can fully personalise your site. Whether you’re a photographer, a plumber, butcher, baker or candlestick maker we have a template for you — they are professionally designed website designs without the high cost.
Squarespace 7.0 was the primary platform from 2014 until early 2020. It was made up of “template families,” each with different layout and feature options that shaped how sites looked and functioned. The Brine family of templates most closely match the new 7.1 design.
In January 2020 Squarespace made 7.1 the default builder, focusing on simpler design and easier use. Website styles are now easier to apply and the process is usually faster than in 7.0. There are no separate templates in 7.1. Every starting template has the same layouts and features in 7.1 so getting the design and the layout is more important than ever but the structure and usability is familiar to most Squarespace users.
Start by choosing a design you like and we can customise any one of our templates to fit your business. So for example if you’re a plumber we can customise a design even though it may be categorised as a wellbeing design for example. The categories we use are only an indication as any of our designs can be applied to any industry.
Using a template can also attract huge savings. It’s much cheaper to choose a ready made design than pay for a custom designed website. The template costs £125.00 and even if you ask us to populate it and connect it for you the total charge will be in the region of £500.00. Compare that to £2-3,00 for a custom built website.
