Squarespace website help. Do you need help with your design or functionality?
Squarespace website owners particularly those with older websites often need help to update or redesign their websites. The older templates, or the 7.0 series, are a little different to the newest 7.1 iteration called ‘fluid motion’ and users with the older templates often need more help updating their websites.
Functionality has hugely improved too and an update from 7.0 can bring major benefits by making the upgrade to 7.1.
We have a series of packages that include the redesign work required for an upgrade. Your new website will require an amount of SEO to bring it into line with the demands of the newest Google algorithms. The Home page has never been more important than it is today. We have less patience and time these days to properly digest a website we’ve never been on before and so the Home page needs to impress and get the new user to the page they need quicker than ever before. A Home page on the newest version of Squarespace is made up of sections. Once you get your colour palette in place you’ll use these sections to build your Home page. Normally no more than five sections make up a Home page.
It’s very important when looking at a redesign to make sure there aren’t any broken links. Take care of those URL slugs from your old layout and make sure they’re carried over to your redesign.

Another route to take if you’re looking to redesign your website is to use one of our templates. You can see our templates here The advantage of using a template is that you can choose a new updated design for your website and just move all of your contact across to the template you choose. Using a template is the cheapest and quickest route to a new design. We have about 30 designs to choose from and there will probably one that suits your business. The other huge advantage with a template is that it can be further customised to suit your business.
