The Home page has never been more important than it is today. With shorter attention spans and less time to explore unfamiliar sites, the Home page must impress quickly and guide new visitors to the information they need faster than ever. On the latest version of Squarespace, a Home page is built from a series of sections. Once your colour palette is settled, you’ll use these sections to assemble the Home page. Typically, a Home page consists of no more than five well-considered sections.
It’s very important when looking at a redesign to make sure there aren’t any broken links. Take care of those URL slugs from your old layout, update redirects where needed, and make sure they’re correctly carried over to your redesign.
